The best way to apply Soil'd products to your garden
How do I apply Seanova?
Seanova is a liquid concentrate of liquid fish hydrolysate and seaweed. It is best applied to your garden in a watering can. Just add 100mL of Seanova to every 10L of water - it is strong stuff, don't go too hard on the plants.
How do I apply Osteon and Bionyx?
Our powdered products - Osteon and Bionyx - are best applied by blending them in to existing topsoil with a small garden spade or by hand. It is like a sawdust type consistency, so should be covered over by existing soil so it doesn't blow away in the wind, or wash away when watered.
What types of plants can I use Soil'd on?
Our products have been shown to be effective on all plants - fruit trees, vegetables, flowers, hedges etc. But it is recommended to not apply too much Osteon or Bionyx to native flowering shrubs due to our high phosphorus levels. Some natives are a little sensitive when too much phosphorus is added.
How often should I apply the Soil'd products?
We typically suggest applying every 2 weeks during the growing season. You can add a double-dose at the beginning for extra growth. We also suggest reducing the application for 2-3 weeks prior to picking fruit, or harvesting your veggies.
All of our products are organic, or based on animal by-products - no synthetic additives. In short, you can't really apply too much!
